There are more women than ever in the workplace and many of those will be experiencing their Menopause. With an increased expectancy of gender balance at board level, transparency of salary expectations and recruitment diversity and retention, Menopause is increasingly being seen as an important part of the Wellbeing agenda. Having been a taboo for so long, Menopause is no longer a subject that can be ignored.
There is no such thing as an average Menopause, it is as individual as your fingerprint. The only way to address it is through education and awareness. Seeing this as a workplace issue and not a ‘woman’s’ issue will create a progressive and supportive workplace that will attract and retain the best individuals for your organisation.
