Managing The Menopause At Home
Managing
The Menopause
At Home
Your relationship with your significant other is one of the most valuable, yet it is under pressure as you struggle to manage your symptoms, the changes in your view of yourself and your ambitions for the future. Menopausal symptoms affect all aspects of intimate relationships, some silently and some not so.
Your Second Phase is about opening up the conversation and talking about how this period of your lives together is affecting each of you and the bond between you, encouraging support and empathy. This is a journey that takes many years and if managed sensitively, your relationship will develop and strengthen well into your post-Menopausal years.

Being single during your Menopause can feel very unfair.
Just at the point you were thinking of getting back to dating a whole range of symptoms, including physiological and behavioural changes arrived that you probably hadn’t planned for, making the whole experience fraught with issues.
Your Second Phase is about understanding firstly who you are today and might be tomorrow, not the ‘you’ of years ago. It’s time for a reorganisation, things have changed since you last dated and so have you. Honour yourself and be selective. Lastly when things are moving on it’s about positively opening up the Menopause conversation. This is a period of immense change and you get to drive it in the direction that you want.
